Join us as we take over the Smithfield area of the city (near Hanley Library) for a FREE day celebrating and exploring South Asian culture. Featuring dance performance Roots to Rise, storytelling by Peter Chand, Henna by Cherrie, Traditional Indian Block Printing workshops and more.

Drop-in and stay for as long as you like at this relaxed day.

Part of the Sensasian programme for 2026. Sensasian is a celebration of art and culture that draws inspiration from, and created in consultation with, the South Asian and wider community in Stoke-on-Trent. Sensasian is a partnership between Appetite and our lead organisation, New Vic, and for 2026 The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery and Arts Keele.
