Echoes of the Himalayas

Echoes of the Himalayas

Echoes of the Himalayas is an intimate live music and storytelling experience created by Himachali vocalist Sia Sharma.

Through acoustic performances, personal stories, and shared moments, the evening brings the lesser-heard music, traditions and cultural identity of the Himalayan region into the heart of London.

The experience unfolds through three parts:

Discover
Discover the traditions, stories and everyday life of the Himalayan region through live acoustic music.

Share
Share personal stories, memories and reflections that connect us with the mountains, home and heritage.

Connect
Bring people from different backgrounds together through shared experiences, meaningful conversation and a sense of belonging.

Presented during South Asian Heritage Month 2026, Echoes of the Himalayas reflects this year’s theme, Unity in Diversity, by celebrating a distinctive and underrepresented part of South Asia’s cultural landscape.

The experience is open to everyone. You do not need to be from the Himalayan region or from a South Asian background to attend.
