Description
Supporting Education During South Asian Heritage Month
These educational resources have been created by the South Asian Heritage Trust (SAHT) to help schools, colleges, trusts and community organisations celebrate and explore South Asian Heritage Month.
They’re free to download because we believe heritage and education should be accessible to everyone.
If you’ve found these resources valuable, we’d be incredibly grateful if you considered making a suggested £5 contribution during download. Donations are entirely optional, but every contribution helps us develop new resources, support our volunteers, and continue growing South Asian Heritage Month for future generations.
Using these resources
You’re very welcome to use these materials in educational settings and adapt them to suit your learners.
We simply ask that you:
- Keep SAHT branding, copyright notices and acknowledgements visible.
- Credit the South Asian Heritage Trust (SAHT) as the original creator.
- Clearly identify any content you’ve added or adapted.
- Avoid suggesting that SAHT has endorsed, approved or authored any adapted material.
- Where possible, direct colleagues and organisations to the SAHT website to access the latest versions of these resources.
Please don’t…
To protect the integrity of these resources, please don’t:
- Remove SAHT branding, copyright information or acknowledgements.
- Rebrand or present the resources as your own work.
- Upload, host or redistribute the files on third-party websites or platforms.
- Include them within paid training, consultancy, commercial services or other income-generating activities.
- Use them to promote third-party products, services or commercial ventures.
- Alter the content in a way that misrepresents SAHT, its charitable aims or its position.
By downloading these resources, you’re helping us keep them accurate, trusted and freely available for educators, learners and communities across the UK.
Thank you for supporting the work of the South Asian Heritage Trust and helping celebrate the rich history, cultures and contributions of South Asian communities.
If you’re looking for resources tailored to your school, organisation or local community, we’d love to hear from you. Our team is always happy to discuss bespoke educational materials, themed content or collaborative projects that reflect the stories and heritage most relevant to your audience.
