Join dancers Shivani Jatar (Kathak) and Dhivya Srilakshmi (Bharatanatyam) as they explore their classical dance traditions, uncovering new avenues for expression and collaboration. In this unique performance, the artists share rarely seen pieces from their rich heritages—specially curated for audiences in the UK.
‘Time and Time Again’ is a theatre show exploring themes of privilege, migration, and the conflict between adapting to a new culture while holding onto one’s roots.
The day will feature a free writing workshop in the afternoon, with poet, Jay Sandhu. And in the evening there will be spoken word, music and open mic slots, with readings and performances from poet Jay Sandhu and award winning punjabi bhangra and hip hop producer Tru Skool.
