Summer Exhibition 2023 – With Due Ceremony
1st – 31st August 2023
Introducing this year’s Summer Exhibition at The Gurkha Museum, located in the former Peninsula Barracks in Winchester.
The recent coronation of HM King Charles III and Queen Camilla adds to a long and storied history of Gurkha involvement in state and ceremonial occasions. ‘With Due Ceremony’, the summer exhibition at The Gurkha Museum, will celebrate some of the historic and routine ceremonial events throughout the 200+ years of Gurkha history. This exhibition will present the grandeur and significance behind the events through photographs, video and artefacts from our collections.
The exhibition will be open throughout August and entry to the exhibition is included with admission to the Museum.
