‘You can’t do much training here; it is all bloody jungle’ Lecture and lunch with Mike Tickner
Join Lieutenant Colonel Mike Tickner, a retired Army officer, on 13 June 2025, as he explores the remarkable training methods that led the Indian Army to victory in the Second World War.
The lecture will take place in the refurbished library at The Gurkha Museum. Guests will be welcomed with tea and coffee upon arrival, a fascinating talk, followed by a Q&A session. After the lecture, there will be an option to enjoy a traditional two-course Gurkha curry in the grand McDonald Gallery.
Choose between the lecture with bhat lunch for £40 or just the lecture for £15. Do not forget to select your option (and your Friends discount if applicable) when booking!
