Through Kindred Eyes highlights displays paintings and photographs from two South Asian artists based in the city of Edinburgh. Working in different mediums, Vibha Pankaj’s paintings and Hermann Rodrigues’s project Broon Scots share a kindred approach in their use of colour and in exploring their intertwined Scottish Asian heritage. Vibha brings forth memories and feelings of India into the Scottish landscapes she paints, whilst Broon Scots features Scotland’s South Asians making of home.
