This South Asian Heritage Month, RepresentAsian are excited to host an evening of stories from Bristol’s Desi community. From personal memories to cultural roots – hear voices that celebrate identity, heritage, and belonging.

Anyone is welcome! Whether you’re a part of the community or want to learn more about the South Asian experience in Bristol, join us at the Arnolfini to listen and engage with spoken stories, ranging from personal anecdotes, prose, monologues, poetry and anything in between.

About RepresentAsian
Founded by siblings Safiya Haneen and Yusuf Suave, RepresentAsian is a platform that explores and promotes South Asian representation within the UK music industry. Their initiatives include club nights, podcasts, workshops, and more, all aimed at amplifying South Asian voices in music.
