Produced by Excel Entertainment (Superboys of Malegaon and Gully Boy) and world premiering at Toronto International Film Festival, Boong, is a delightfully endearing film about a young boy’s quest to bring happiness to his family. In the valley of Manipur, young Boong plans to surprise his mother with a gift. In his innocence, he believes that bringing his father back home would be what she would most value. His search takes him into Myanmar, where dreams and reality collide.
