Event Instructions
Please dress comfortably and appropriately for a day outdoors.
Here’s what we recommend:
● Clothing: wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes. Layers are a good idea as temperatures can change throughout the day.
● Footwear: sturdy, closed-toe shoes like trainers or walking boots are essential for the guided walk and uneven ground at the nature reserve. Please avoid sandals or slip-ons.
● Lunch and drinks: bring your own lunch for eating outdoors and bottled water or juice.
● Weather preparation: bring a waterproof jacket in case of rain, and sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) if it’s sunny. Please note in the event of heavy wet weather, the event will move indoors into the Eco Classroom at the Rimac NNR.
● Yoga session: if you’re taking part in the seated yoga, wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows for gentle movement. No prior experience of yoga is required. Bring a blanket, cushion or camping chair for the seated yoga on the beach.
● Carparking: coins/ Pay by Phone app

Who is this for:
Women of Colour – with 5 places reserved for women from Lincolnshire
No previous experience of yoga, creative activities or nature reserves needed!
The day is designed for a range of mobilities, with a gentle walk that last no longer than 45 minutes with stops. We are sorry there is no wheelchair access to the beach; the nature reserve is wheelchair accessible. Supervised children are welcome but please email us so we can account for the capacity.
There is no cost to attend. This event has been made possible by the support of the four organisations hosting. If you sign up then can’t make it, please give us as much notice so we can plan ahead and release spaces if necessary. Thank you!
