Hi, I’m Ceran. At just 11 years old, I felt the electric thrill of gripping a steering wheel for the first time. That moment wasn’t just an introduction to racing; it was the spark that ignited a lifelong obsession. From karting to single-seaters, every turn of the wheel has deepened my passion for speed, precision, and excellence. Now, at 24 years old, I am driven by a singular vision: to become the first-ever Sikh Formula 1 driver. The journey has been relentless, marked by challenges and victories, but every lap brings me closer to making history.

Fuelling a Lifelong Passion

Growing up in in Bristol and now based in Windsor, I was captivated by motorsport—its roaring engines, split-second decisions, and the unyielding pursuit of perfection. But for me, it’s always been more than just a sport; it’s a calling. Over the past 6 years, I’ve poured my heart and soul into British Formula 3/GB3 testing, honing my craft and pushing my limits. Every test session is a new lesson, every corner an opportunity to prove my mettle.

Beyond the track, my journey has been equally transformative. As a final-year student in BEng (Hons) Automotive Engineering with Motorsport, I’ve cultivated a unique technical expertise that bridges the gap between driver and machine. Collaborating closely with race teams, I bring a deeper understanding of performance optimization, making me an asset both behind the wheel and in the garage.

The Roadmap to Formula 1

My path to Formula 1 isn’t just about personal ambition—it’s about paving the way for others like me. In 2025, I aim to dominate the Radical UK cup before progressing into the British GT Championship. From there, my sights are firmly set on earning a coveted factory driver position. While GT racing is my immediate focus, my ultimate dream remains clear: competing on the grandest stage of them all, Formula 1.

But this journey isn’t one I can undertake alone. Motorsport is, and always has been, a team effort. I’m actively seeking visionary sponsors and partners who see the value in supporting not just a driver, but a story of resilience, innovation, and diversity. Together, we can shatter stereotypes and redefine the boundaries of what’s possible in motorsport.

Building the Complete Driver

Success on the track demands more than driving skill—it requires peak physical and mental conditioning. My fitness regimen is as disciplined as my race craft: high-intensity interval training, strength circuits, and endurance runs of up to 10 kilometres to ensure I’m race-ready for any challenge. Paired with a meticulously balanced, high-protein diet, this routine sharpens both body and mind, enabling me to stay focused and perform under pressure.

Milestones Along the Way

Every victory and challenge has shaped the driver I am today. Here are the moments that define my journey:

  • 2012: Achieved my first podium and victory within three races at Llandow Kart Club’s Mini Max, finishing runner-up in the championship.
  • 2013: Crowned Llandow Kart Club Mini Max Champion with a dominant 348-point lead.
  • 2014–2017: Became the first Sikh to graduate in the top three at the McLaren Performance Academy. Competed in Junior and Senior Rotax Championships, earning consistent podiums and fastest laps.
  • 2019–2023: Tested British Formula 3 cars with Chris Dittmann Racing and Fortec Motorsports, matching times with seasoned drivers. Competed in endurance racing, outperforming teammates in Citroën C1 events at Thruxton and Donington Park. Appointed Global Ambassador for motorsports at the Sikh Games, inspiring the next generation of talent. Featured on major Sikh TV networks, including Akaal Channel and Sikh Channel, sharing my journey with millions of viewers across 157 countries. Also been invited to schools to do inspirational and motivational talks to the next generation of children to find something they love and keep working on it.

These milestones are more than achievements—they’re proof of what’s possible when passion meets perseverance.

Chasing Speed, Creating Dreams: Building a New Era in Motorsport

For as long as I can remember, motorsport has been more than a passion; it’s been my life. From the very first laps in a go‑kart, through countless hours of hard work and sacrifice, to competing in full‑on race cars across international championships, every moment has shaped who I am and where I’m headed. As I stand on the verge of starting my professional racing career, one thing burns brighter than ever: I can be the fastest driver on the track, and I am ready to prove it.

But this journey is about more than chasing victories for myself. When I take that next step and get behind the wheel, it will also mark the beginning of something far greater; a global race team and academy built to give others the chance I had to fight so hard for. This is about making motorsport more accessible, opening doors for talented drivers who might not have the financial backing or connections to break into the sport. It’s about making sure the struggles I faced aren’t repeated, and that others have a pathway to turn their dreams into reality.

Most of all, this is about the future generation of Sikh racers; and countless others like them; who deserve the chance to write their own chapter in motorsport. I understand the heartbreak, the setbacks, and the sheer grit it takes to pursue this dream when resources are limited. That’s why this academy means so much to me. It’s not just a project; it’s a promise. A beacon for those with the talent and drive, regardless of where they come from.

This is my life’s calling. When I race, it won’t be just for a trophy. It will be for every person who has felt overlooked, for every young racer chasing a dream that felt out of reach.

Let me prove it; not only on the track, but through this academy that will redefine the future of motorsport, one generation at a time.

Testimonials from race team principles:

Chris Dittmann, Team Principal of Chris Dittmann Racing.

“To have a driver who has had no previous experience in Formula 3 machinery, let alone no form of racing for 2 years and to perform well is very uncommon. Normally it takes drivers weeks or infact months to be up to a decent level of speed, however Ceran blew myself and the whole team away on how quick he adapted to the car as well as his consistency during his first test at Pembry race circuit.

While doing his studies in Wales, every Friday without fail he would come to the headquarters in Tewkesbury and do 2-3 hours on our simulator. He rarely ever went backwards on the simulator, infact he always went forward which not every driver can do as quickly as Ceran showed. For Ceran to match our top driver who is a race winner and has had 3+ years of experience in single seater machinery, is very impressive. Every debrief he was in, he took on every detail we had advised to go faster and within the first few laps of each session Ceran did, we noticed he implemented it without no hesitation.

Ceran has been with us since 2019 and due to the lack of funding he has which leads to lack of testing which is a fundamentally important, he hasn’t had the chance to fully showcase his true ability behind the wheel. Since he’s been with us and been able to test every 6 months, he clearly shows he can drive. If he had the investment, he would be a fierce competitor and up towards the front in half the time as other drivers”

Oliver Dutton, Team principal of Fortec Motorsports.

“Ceran can be a top runner if given the investment for him to race.  We noticed his potential and natural skills when he was testing at Silverstone GP Circuit on a race weekend. We offered him to test with us to see how it would be with a different team, as all teams have their ways of operating a team. He came to our Head Quarters and was on our simulator for a few hours. We were very impressed with his consistency and quality of driving.

When we were at Silverstone GP circuit after his test with Chris Dittmann Racing, he went faster. He shaved off 2-3 seconds with ease and it truly showed his talent and ability behind the wheel. The fact he listens and takes on the advice we suggested, Ceran implemented it or used his own initiative from our advice to make it work which is what a true driver is. As Ceran said, “Without funding, I can’t show my true potential. If I did have more seat time, I will be faster” and he proved he can do it if given the chance”
