Explore the diverse traditions from various South Asian countries, by focusing on traditional inanimate objects, you will find a unique lens through which to view and appreciate the multifaceted heritage of South Asia.

During this workshop, you will:

Engage in a liberating free-write session that helps clear the mind and encourage creative thinking around the notions of tradition and heritage.

Embark on a virtual journey through images representing the diverse landscapes, traditional objects, and rituals associated with South Asia.

Choose a specific country and explore its traditions using your five senses, creating a short written piece based on your brainstorming.

Dive into the exploration of four inanimate objects from your chosen country, describing their colours, sizes, feel, and uses.

By the end of this workshop, not only will you be equipped with new writing skills and insights, but you will also have a piece of poetry that is uniquely your own.
