The Music of our Community: A BCU Concert for South Asian Heritage Month
Join BCU for a colourful celebration of music, food and fun to mark South Asian Heritage Month.
The event will begin with a vocal prelude to commence the festivities, transitioning into a beautiful Kathak performance from British Asian female dancer and choreographer Kesha Raithatha and followed by a Bharatanatyam duet led by Prem Rai. The event will be headlined by a virtuoso performance from celebrated international violinist Ustad Johar Ali who will be joined by friends from The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. A Bollywood dance finale from India Island Academy will finish the evening with an exciting party.
This event will last approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.
