Religion, Culture and the Workplace event: Thursday 27 July
Book your ‘free’ place right here.
This hybrid event has been organised by the CMS Hindu, Sikh and Jain (HSJ), Muslim and embRACE networks to celebrate South Asian Heritage Month, which takes place every year between 18 July – 17 August.
You will hear from several internal and external speakers on how their religious and cultural identity manifests in their careers, the challenges they have faced being true to their authentic selves at work, and their tips for success.
CMS associates Ali Siddiqui and Anubha Shrivastava will be moderating an engaging panel discussion which will feature several speakers including:
- Amrit Singh Mann (Journalist, Sky News);
- Chandresan Govender (CMS Associate);
- Niharika Khanna (Group Ops Manager, Serco, Chair of Serco Embrace Network and UK Regional Leader – Network Capital); and
- Rukasana Bhaijee (DEI EMEA Leader – most recently at Warner Bros. Discovery).
Each of the speakers will share their own journeys and thoughts on being South Asian in today’s British society, challenges they have encountered and tips for success.
Following the discussion there will be a networking reception with refreshments and a South Asian themed buffet.
The event is open to clients, connections, and CMS employees.
If you are unable to join the event in person, you can also attend via Teams.
You can register for the event here and we look forward to seeing you.
Kind regards –
