Immigration Stories – An Extraordinary Story of an Ordinary Man
In celebration of South Asian Heritage Month 2024, National Trust, Kedleston Hall (in Derby) will be showcasing the extraordinary film story of an ordinary man – Mr Ajit Singh Dosanjh who arrived in the UK in the early 1950s.
Be inspired by an anecdotal account of 93 old Mr Ajit Singh Dosanjh who arrived in the UK in the early 1950s at age 23.
His daughter Sangita Dosanjh has written a heart-warming account of this immigration journey along with a film which will be shown in the loggia in the garden of Kedleston Hall. There will a 45 minute session followed by a Q&A session.
