Brick Lane Heritage Walk by the Cockney Sikh

The Brick Lane Heritage Walk and Talk is perfect for anyone intrigued by the history of migration, settlement and architecture in the East End of London. This event offers a chance to explore the rich history and heritage of the Sikh community. Discover the fascinating lives of individuals from various backgrounds, each with their own unique values and customs. The experiences of South Asians in the East End shed light on the importance of multiculturalism, as well as the challenges it can bring. The walk will conclude at the Brady Arts Centre, where the talented Suresh Singh (also known as the Cockney Sikh) will treat us to some of his poetry. Join us for an unforgettable journey through history and culture!

Meeting point: Shahid Minar (Martyrs Monument), Altab Ali Park, Adler Street/Whitechapel High Street, E1
