Rochdale South Asian Heritage Festival
Rochdale Town Hall will come alive with the vibrant colours, sounds, and traditions of South Asian culture on Thursday 15th August.
Living Well, in partnership with Rochdale Town Hall and Rochdale’s VCFSE (Voluntary, Community, Faith, and Social Enterprise) organisations are holding this collaborative event. There’s still a chance for individuals, groups, and organisations from South Asian communities, specifically from Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, India, and Afghanistan, to join us in celebrating and showcasing the rich heritage of South Asia.
This event is a unique opportunity to share the diverse arts and crafts, fashion, music, performances, traditions, and games that make South Asian culture so unique and cherished.
Whether you are an artist, a musician, a dancer, or a craftsman, we invite you to participate and contribute to this cultural extravaganza.
We encourage everyone to come forward and be part of this exciting event. Showcase your talents, share your traditions, and help foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of South Asian culture within our community.
