The Journey of Resilience – By Sikh Women’s Aid
As part of a funding grant by The Heritage Lottery Project Sikh Women’s Aid have spent the last year working with our amazing team of researchers to interview 21 women and girls from the Sikh Panjabi Community about their experiences with Domestic and Sexual Abuse and their fight to be “Free to be me”.
These powerful and emotional accounts have been captured into a paperback book and and we will be hosting an exhibition in Sandwell, West Midlands to launch our exhibition and the journey to be “Free to be me” is still out of reach for so many women and girls.
