DESCRIPTION:Embrace the magic of the colder weather by joining us for a winter bushwalk alongside other women of colour and friends (everyone is welcome).\nAccording to the Wurundjeri calendar, it’s Waring season, the time of year when mornings are misty, wombats are out lazing and grazing, lyrebirds are partying, and multilingual fungi are popping up to say hello, g’day, namaskar, aadab…\nBring along your lunch, we’ll aim to walk for 3-4 hours in total with a break in between to eat lunch.\nAll fitness levels are welcome. We’ll be moving together gently, with the intention of connecting to land and each other.\nDetails\nMeeting time: 10:30am\nFinish time: 3:00pm\nLength: Approx. 10-12 km\nMeeting point: TBC (nearby Warrandyt)\nCar Pooling: as you register you’ll be asked if you need a lift or can offer a lift, and once you register check your inbox for a link to our whatsapp group chat to organise a car pooling where possible or travelling together.\nWhat to bring: A water bottle, your lunch & waterproof jacket in case of rain.\nOrganised by Australian South Asian Centre – a space created by South Asian women and women of colour.
