Learn about traditional clothing with our fashion parade, enjoy captivating song and dance performances, and experience an interactive drumming workshop.\nThis family-friendly event – also perfect for those without children – is curated by Bristol’s Pakistani Welfare Organisation along with the city’s Indian and Bangladeshi communities.\nCome and immerse yourself in the colours, sounds, and heritage of South Asia!\nAbout South Asian Heritage Month\nSouth Asian Heritage Month first took place in 2020 and runs from 18 July to 17 August each year. The event at M Shed is the first of its kind in Bristol!\nSouth Asian culture has profoundly enriched Britain and played a vital role in shaping our city of Bristol. This month provides a special opportunity to celebrate what it means to be South Asian today, whilst reflecting on the history that has helped shape our vibrant communities.\n
