All proceeds from tickets go towards helping us provide free mental health services to our ESEA communities.\n \nMeet the yoga instructor: Ravi Dixit\nRavi Dixit is an Indian Yoga teacher living in London, passionate about making traditional Yoga understandable for everyone. Over the last fifteen years Ravi has been teaching thousands of students across Europe, UK and India with his authentic Yoga workshops and transformational retreats. Ravi knows the benefits of yoga like no other, growing up in India where yoga is a part of daily life and considered essential for maintaining health and happiness. Since yoga has become mainstream in the West, more and more people are experiencing the benefits of this powerful practice. However, some of the principles of the original teachings are often getting lost in modern yoga.\nIn his work as a teacher, Ravi is passionate to bring back the essence of yoga, making the principles and values of traditional yoga understandable and approachable for everyone.\nWhen not in London, he leads retreats and teacher trainings at his beach resort ‘Ravi Yoga Retreat’ in South Goa.\nhttps://ravi.yoga/\n \nShort film screenings (discussion led by Misha Hassan)\nWe will be watching two short films from South Asian filmmakers.\nMadhu (Honey)\n\nFilmmakers: Tanmay and Tanvi Chowdhary\n11 mins\nOver the course of one night, two old friends catch up while roaming the streets of Kolkata during the festivities of Durga Puja.
